Can I put our unit's name next to the logo?
Not inside the logo's clear space, and never added to the logo itself: set your unit's name as text of its own, apart from the logo.
The sender is always Aleris, and nothing enters the logo's clear space. A unit name set close to the logo turns it into a lockup of its own, which is one of the misuses that actually happens here.
